This is the fastest and simplest way to get any bitaxe / nerd*axe miner up and running in less than 10 minutes
In just a few easy steps, you’ll connect your device to Wi-Fi and start mining right away
Once you’re set up, choose between Solo Mining or Pool Mining and follow the full guide for your preferred method

Generic miner parts
Power Input: Connect to a stable power supply. Always verify the correct specs for your device before inserting the connector.
Fan Connectors: Your device may have one or more fans. Make sure all 4-pin connectors are properly aligned. Incorrect fan connections can damage control components.
USB-C Port: Used for firmware flashing or serial debugging. If you can’t access the web interface (AxeOS), you can reflash the device via USB using tools like esptool or flasher.bitronics.store
Reset button: reboots de device
Boot button: Hold during power-up to enter flash mode
Fuse: overcurrent protective component used on some Nerd*axe devices

Whether you’re using a Bitaxe, Nerdaxe, or another home mining device, the basic steps to connect it to the internet and start mining are quite similar.
To start up this home miners you will only need the miner power supply and a mobile phone.
1️⃣ STEP 1: Power on your device and connect to its WiFi
Wait until the message “Connect to ssid: Nerd*axe_XXXX” appears on the screen.
Then, using a mobile phone, search for the Nerd*axe_XXXX Wi-Fi network and connect to it.
Once connected, a configuration portal will automatically launch, where you will be guided through the following steps

2️⃣ STEP 2: Configure your home WiFi network
Once connected, a configuration portal will automatically launch, where you will be guided through the following steps:
Go to the Network section:
- SSID name: set your home WiFi name
- SSID Password: set your home WiFi password
- Pool url/port: introduce your pool settings or leave default
- BTC address: BTC address where you will receive the reward
- Click Save and Restart
If everything is correctly set, the miner will reboot and connect to your home WiFi network automatically

3️⃣ STEP 3: Access the miner’s dashboard

Once the miner is connected to your network:
Look at the device’s screen or logs — it should display a local IP address, something like 192.168.1.XXX
Type this IP address in your browser to access the miner's dashboard.
From there, you’ll be able to:
- See Miner performance; Hashrate, shares, efficiency..
- Change miner settings
- Change pool config
- See miner logs

If you see hashrate in your dashboard, you’re up and running 🎉
Whether you’re mining with a pool or independently, you’re now part of the Bitcoin network — congrats!
Now that you’re connected, it’s time to decide how you want to mine: Solo Mining or Pool Mining
🧱 Solo Mining (Mine independently)
Mine on your own, without joining a “pool”.
⚠️ If you find a block, you receive the entire Bitcoin block reward!
